Ddownload is a relatively new filehosting site that gives you the possibility to get unlimited direct downloads for free. Here's our review. First though, let me tell you why I even heard about Ddownload. Credit goes to IDM (Internet Download Manager) which simply didn't work with all filehosters. So my bro told me about this 'site' where he was getting files easily and quickly. So let's not wait anymore! Let's check out if it really works or if it has some catch.

Free Direct Downloads - Check!
Well first of all, Ddownload offers unlimited direct downloads without any fake forced download bullshit like on other sites! Of course, there are ads but they're not disturbing and don't play any sounds. So let's get to the downloads - You can simply click on them and download or rightclick for a menu where you have all the
necessary downloadoptions like:
- MP3 Quality (192kbps / 256kbps)
- Multiple Uploads
- Unlimited direct downloads at once
Well, after testing it out I must conclude that the site is pretty good in terms of direct downloads! Of course there's always a catch somewhere, but we'll talk about that later in this review. Oh and if you're wondering how much traffic do Ddownload need to keep their site running: They're using Cloudflare like everyone else nowadays to protect against DDOS attacks and such! So Ddownload doesn't need much traffic after all but, still I wouldn't recommend them to you if they're (and that's a big "if") going to use your bandwidth without being able to download anything.
Filesharing - Is it really free?
So now the main part of this review: What about filesharing? Well, as promised there are no restrictions for uploading and sharing files here. There's a simple uploader where you can choose from multiple filehosters like Letitbit, Nitroflare, Turbo Uploader etc. We tried everything out and everything was working well! So that's a plus :)

Well then why did I tell you that Ddownload isn't free if everything is working well? Well, the catch is simple but I think everyone expected it so I'm not surprised :D - You can only share your files for 5 minutes after uploading it. After those 5 minutes are gone, you won't be able to download anything anymore...
Well, what about the filehosting part then? Is it really unlimited too? Well as a matter of fact: Yes! There's absolutely no limit here and the hosting speed is pretty good as well which makes this site an excellent alternative to cloudflare or turbouploader. So in conclusion: It's a pretty good combination of both filehosting and direct downloads with a short timespan on filesharing. It's up to you if you're looking for a longterm filehosting solution or just need a good free direct download site - Ddownload will help you in both cases! :)
